Mr. Garofolo has significant experience advising clients on legal issues related to compensation and benefits matters.  He has advised multinational companies with respect to global equity compensation plans, including tax, securities, foreign exchange, data privacy, and labor issues.  He has also advised clients on cross-border transactions and various regulatory matters around the world.

Mr. Garofolo has particular expertise regarding cross-border employment matters.  He has also advised clients on data privacy matters in approximately 100 countries.

Mr. Garofolo previously worked as an attorney at two leading international law firms. In addition to being a partner with International Law Partners, LLP, Mr. Garofolo is also a partner with ERISA Law Partners, LLP, and a shareholder of Garofolo & Doyle, P.C.

Mr. Garofolo received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business.  He has lectured before the Western Pension & Benefits Conference.
